Abstract
Objective To test the drug sensitivity of 2 641 mycoplasma-positive strains and provide valuable information for effective drug treatment of patients infected with mycoplasma.Method Mycoplasma was cultured for 4 803 patients with mycoplasma urethritis/cercicitis and in vitro drug sensitivity was tested for 2 641 mycoplasma positive strains by a 14 antibiotics kit. Results Of the 4 803 cases 2 641 were detected mycoplasma positive, with a positive rate of 54.99%,including 1 811 cases positive for Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)(68.57%),63 cases positive for Mycoplasma hominis(Mh)(2.39%),and 767 cases positive for two Ureaplasma mixed infection(29.04%).The difference in the positive rate between male and female patients had statistic significance(χ2=152.409,P0.001).Of the detected 2 641 mycoplasma-positive strains,44 were full-resistant and co-infected with Uu+Mh,and the detection rate was increasing year by year. The phenomenon of drug resistance was widespread, particularly to Ciprofloxacin and Erythromycin.Uu was sensitive to Josamycin(99.75%)and Clarithromycin(97.85%);Mh was sensitive to Doxycycline(96.83%)and Josamycin(93.65%);the mixed infections of Un+Mh was sensitive to Josamycin(77.71%)and Doxycycline(75.10%).Uu,Mh and Uu+Mh were most resistant to Ciprofloxacin(66.81%),Erythromycin(88.29%)and Erythromycin(95.18%),respectively.In the three groups of Uu,Mh and Uu+Mh,the drug-resistant rate of the Uu+Mh group was the highest, while the Uu group was the lowest. Conclusion Mycoplasma infection is dominated by Uu,and rational selection of antibiotics based on the results of drug sensitivity test will be important for effective control of mycoplasma infection in the urino-genital tracts.
