Isolation and antibiotic susceptibility of ureaplasma urealyticum and mycoplasma hominis

Objective:To investigate the infectivity and drug resistance of ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and mycoplasma hominis(Mh),and instruct reasonable application of antibiotics clinically.Methods:Totally 904 specimens in the patients with urogenital tract infection were collected,cultured and tested for drug sensitivity with mycoplasma susceptibility test kit.Results:From the specimens of 904 cases,the infection of Uu was in 294 cases(32.5%),the infection of Mh was in 46 cases(5.1%),and the mixed(Uu+Mh) was in 122 cases(13.5%),the total positive rote was 462 cases.The results of drug sensitivity showed that the sensitivities of Uu and Mh to ciprofloxacin,ofloxacin,roxithromycin was 0.7%,24.5%,34.7%and 17.4%,17.4%,0%.To josamycin,doxycycline and minocyclin were higher,It was 95.9%,93.2 %,98.0%and 95.7%,95.7%,82.6%.Conclusion:The infection of Uu and Mh is high among the patients.Uu and Mh have high drug resistance to many antibiotics.
