Clinical effects of acupuncture with Chinese and western medicine treating on ulcerative colitis

Abstract
Objective To Study on clinical effects of acupuncture with Chinese and western medicine treating on ulcerative colitis.Methods 58patients with ulcerative colitis were divided into acupuncture with Chinese and Western Medicine(observation group)and conventional treatment group(control group).The curative effect,the treatment time and cost were observed.Results The observation group patients' effective rate was better than the control group(P 0.05).The treatment time,cost,recurrence,SCL-90total score,positive items and average positive,physical factor, compulsion,depression,anxiety factor and human factor of the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture with Chinese and western medicine treatments for ulcerative colitis patients has obvious curative effect,reduce the recurrence rate and improve the patients' emotion.
