Clinical analysis of Chinese medicine treatment of ulcerative colitis

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of TCM treatment with ulcerative colitis patients.Methods Chose the patients in the writer's hospital from May 2009 to September 2011 clinic of 75 patients with the important internal and added enema therapy,and chose the same period of western medicine therapy 47 patients as control group.Compared with two groups of patients with clinical curative effect.Results The effectiveness of Traditional Chinese medicine group was 89.33%,while in the control group was 72.34%.The difference was statistically significant betwent the two groups (P 0.05).3 months after stopping discontinuation,the recurrence of Chinese medicine group was 10 cases (13.33%),and the control group recurrence was 13 cases (27.66%),the difference was statistically significant betwent the two groups (P 0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine oral administration combined with enema in treatment of ulcerative colitis,the clinical has curative effect,less side effects,and it is worthy of clinical application.
