Combined Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract

Objective To explore clinical efficacy of the combination of Chinese and Western medicine treatment of ulcerative colitis.Methods Tofal 60 patients with ulcerative colitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 30 cases in the control group were treated with western medicine,western medicine therapy in the treatment group was added based on traditional Chinese medicine,clinical efficacy were observed.Results The total therapeutic of effective rate in two groups were 93.3% and 70.0% respectively.The treatment group was significantly improved compared with that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The combination of Chinese and Western medicine treatment of ulcerative colitis certainly is worth clinical application.
