Abstract

Objective The study was to evaluate the pancreatic hemodynamic characteristics of type 2 diabetic patients and healthy people by multisection helical CT(MSCT) perfusion scanning technology, and explore the clinic value. Methods Pancreatic perfusion CT examination was performed in 30 cases with type 2 diabetic patients and 30 subjects without pancreatic diseases by using GE Lightspeed 16-slice MSCT.The subjects were divided into prevalence group group and normal group according to whether diabetes or not existed, and then, subjects were measured the mean blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),mean transit time(MTT) and permeability surface(PS) in different parts of pancreas, and the data were analyzed statistically. Results The BV values of pancreatic body in prevalence group and normal group were(13.41±3.69) ml/kg and(16.43±5.14) ml/kg,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05),the BF,MTT and PS between the two groups showed no significant difference; The BF,BV,MTT and PS values showed no statistically significant between the pancreatic head and pancreatic tail in prevalence group and normal group. Conclusion The BF analysis of pancreas in type 2 diabetic patients has certain clinical value by using MSCT perfusion imaging.
