Abstract
Objective:To observe the combination of Shenkang injection and Xueshuantong injection on the basis of conventional western medicine in treating early diabetic nephropathy. Methods: Eighty patients with early diabetic nephropathy were divided into treatment group and control group by the random number, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional western medical treatment, and the treatment group was given intravenous injection of Shenkang injection and Xueshuantong injection once daily on the basis of conventional treatment. The treatment course lasted 2 weeks. Before and after treatment, the changes of blood urea nitrogen(BUN), serum creatinine(SCr), urinary micro-amount albumin(MA),and beta 2-microglobulin(β2-MG) as well as the scores of traditional Chinese medical symptoms were observed. Results:The scores of traditional Chinese medical symptoms were similar in both group before treatment(P 0.05),then were decreased after treatment(P0.05),and were lower in the treatment group than those in the control group(P0.05). The differences of BUN,SCr,MA and β2-MG were insignificant in both groups before treatment(P0.05). After treatment,BUN,SCr,and MA were decreased in both groups(P0.05),and β2-MG was decreased in the treatment group(P0.05) but did not change much in the control group(P 0.05). The levels of BUN,SCr,MA and β2-MG were lower in the treatment group in comparison with the control group after treatment(P 0.05). Conclusion: Shenkang injection and Xueshuantong injection on the basis of conventional western medicine is effective in treating early diabetic nephropathy through significantly improving the renal function.
