Review on the Research of Land Use Planning in China since 2000

The purpose of this paper is to review the research on land use planning in China since 2000 and to study the future research trend.Method of documentation and comparison study were employed.The results indicate that the future comparison of international land use planning shall be application-oriented.The theory and methodology of land use planning and that of urban planning tend to be infiltrated with each other.The spatial system of land use planning is mainly influenced by market economy system and administration model.The rigidity and elasticity of the index in land use planning will be unified in the planning process.The methodology of plan-based environment impact assessment tends to be policy-oriented.The research of land use planning in the future should take spatial planning as platform.The pertinence,scientific basement and maneuverability of planning should be enhanced.
