The Necessity of Developing ESP Teaching in China and the Strategies

First this paper introduces the ESP's origin and development,then illustrates the necessities of developing ESP teaching in China with the international communication increasing.At last based on careful analysis of negative factors to the ESP teaching,the article put forwards some strategies:more researches must be done on ESP teaching;ESP teachers should be trained;teaching methods should be improued based on studentcentre.
