Idealities,Actualities and Outlets:A Review of the Newest Development of ESP Teaching Studies in China

The surging of ESP talents requirement as the development of society and the nature of communication tool of foreign languages are the important motions of carrying out college ESP teaching.At present,there are many problems and shortages in our country's college ESP teaching on the aspects of teaching staffs,teaching material development and quality management et al.As for these,researchers have put forward some creative suggestions and strategies.Yet if we want to push ahead our nation's ESP teaching,the relative departments should also have to do well the following: strengthening the construction of college ESP teaching quality guarantee system;setting professional,self-governed college ESP teaching posts;opening and improving various field's ESP certificate testing system.
