Abstract
A capillary gas chromatographic method for analyzing asarone and its related substances was established. The sample was analyzed on a HP-1 capillary column(30 m×0.530 mm i.d.,1.5 μm),the detector was flame ionization detector(FID) and the column temperature was set at 185 ℃.The method can be used for the determination of three compounds: β-asarone,2,4,5-trimethoxybenzaldehyde,1-(2,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1-propanol.The linear range for the detection of asarone was 0.010~10.140 μg(r=0.9995),the average recovery of the method was 99.5%(n=9),and the detection limit of asarone was 0.304 ng.The established GC method is accuracy and sensible for asarone determination. It will play an important role in quality control of synthetic process.
