Abstract

Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of asarone and impurities in asarone injection. Methods The analysis was performed on a Kromasil-C_18 column using methanol-water(80∶20)as mobile phase and the detection wavelength was 313 nm.Results Asarone and impurities could be separated well under the condition.Linear calibration curve was obtained in the range of 2~80 mg·L~-1 with an average recovery of 100.2%(RSD= 0.37%).Conclusion The method can be used for the quality control of asarone injection.
