On the Relationship between Tutor's Quality and Developing Innovative Capability of Engineering Graduate Students

Abstract

Innovation capacity is an important indicator of quality of graduate education.It is a gradual process to train such capability of graduate students.Based on the training goal for engineering graduate students and teaching practice in number of years,this paper suggests a five level model,in which,tutor plays a significant role.The relationship between tutor's quality and developing for innovative ability can be described as follows: tutor's innovative awareness and education philosophy is the premise of the later,his scholarly attitude and moral qualities is the guarantee,his academic lever and research capability is the key,his teaching skills and guidance approach is the core.
