Abstract
Objective To study the effects of general anesthesia combined with epidural block anesthesia on hemodynamics of geratics during induction and intubation. Methods Twenty elderly patients scheduled for elective abdominal operation were randomly divided into two groups:general anesthesia combined with epidural block anesthesia group(experimental group, group Ⅰ) and general anesthesia group(control group, group Ⅱ).MAP and HR were recorded respectively with Engle 4 000 type multi function monitor before induction、during induction and intubation、after 15 min of intubation. Results MAP and HR increased significantly in group Ⅱ patients during intubation, but there was no significant difference in group Ⅰ patients during anesthesia. Conclusions General anesthesia combined with epidural block is a good anesthesia for geratics during induction and intubation.
