Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of VEGF in human transitional cell carcionoma of bladder(BTCC) and discuss its clinical significance. Methods Using immunohistochemical stains and enzyme-Linked immunosorbent assay, the expression of VEGF of 45 cases of bladder carcinoma tissue, plasma(tumor group) and 10 cases of normal bladder tissue,30 normal adult plasmas were analyzed. Results VEGF was highly expressed in tumor samples and its expression rates increased with grades and stages. The plasma VEGF concentration of BTCC group before operation was higher than that of after operation. Conclusion 1.Expression of VEGF has a close relationship with pathology graduation, clinical by stages and Biology behavior of BTCC;2.In the blood plasma the VEGF level may be helpful to the forecast carcinoma of bladder patient surgery curative effect.
