Abstract
Objective To evaluate the relationship between vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF) and transitional cell carcinoma of bladder(BTCC).Methods Detection of VEGF and MVD expression of VEGF and MVD were investigated by means of immunohistochemistry.Results The expression of VEGF in the bladder transitional cell carcinoma group was significantly higher than that of the control group.VEGF was closely related to tumor cell nuclear grade and clinical stage.MVD in BTCC was higher than that in controls and related to tumor cell nuclear grade and clinical stage.Conclusion VEGF is associated with the development and prognosis of Bladder Transitional Cell Carcinoma.
