Correlative Analysis of Psychological Health Status and Personality Characteristics of Grade Three Teachers of Senior High School

Abstract

Objective: To study the relationship of mental health and personality characteristics of Grade Three teachers of senior high school in Tianjin.Methods: 337 teachers in Grade Three of senior high school were investigated with Symptom Check List-90(scl-90) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ) and the relationship was studied between the teachers' psychological health and personality.Results: The analysis showed the scores of SCL-90 were higher than the Chinese norm,in somatization,depression,masculine scores factors,etc;there were significant correlation between the total scores of SCL-90 and EPQ(EPQ-P,EPQ-N).Conclusion: Favorable personality characteristic is very important to raise working efficiency of teachers.
