Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between mental health and personality among junior college students of nursing.Methods:325 junior college students of nursing were investigated by SCL-90,EPQ.Results:The analysis showed the scales of SCL-90 were lower than the scores of military medical students and general college students except impose and horror factors,etc, and higher than the scores of female in china except somatization,ansiety and dostility factors. Relationship analysis indicated that the scales of SCL-90 were correlated with EPQ-E、EPQ-L negatively and EPQ-N、EPQ-P quite positively, especially in EPQ-N(r=-0.641).Conclusion:Extroversive personality, stable emotion and high social support etc make for good mental health.
