Abstract

Objective To study the changes of blood glucose concentration of acute cerebrovas-culor disease with different character and various degrees, and its significance and the fluence on prognosis. Methods The blood glucose datas of 196 cases of acute cenebrovscular diseade without DM were retrospectively analysed and compared with the clinical statulo. Results There were 107 cases of cerebral infarction and 89 cases of cerebral hemorrhage in 196 cases of acute cerebrovaocular disease. The blood glucose rose 42% in the cerebral infarction group and 45% in the cerebral hemorrhage group;Based on the location and the range of the lesion, the concentration rising of blood glucose existed significant difference between the group of thalamus and internal capsule and the group of ganglion basal and external capsule(P0.01) .The patients' conscious state and the death rate within 24 hour existed significant difference between the group of normal rage and the group of various blood glucose concentration(P0.01). Conclusion Acute cerebrovascular disease can cause a temporary rising of blood glucose concentration, and the rising level is not related to the character of the disease, but is related to the lesions location, rage and the degree of the disease, and further.it can affect the prognosis.
