Determination of Puerarin in Jitongning Capsules by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

Abstract

Objective To establish a quality method for Jitongning Capsules.Methods The concentration of puerarin in Jitongning Capsules was determined by high performance liquid chromatography.Results The average concentration of puerarin in Jitongning Capsules was 15.86 mg/g.Puerarin showed a good linear relationship in the range of 5-80 μg/ml(r=0.9999) and the average recovery was 97.4%.RSD was 2.7%(n=6).Conclusion This method is simple,repeatable and satisfactory.It can be used to control the quality of the preparation effectively.
