Quality control of xuezhian capsules

Abstract

Objective To study the quality standard of XueZhian capsules.Methods Thin layer chromatography (TLC) was used for the qualitative discrimination of XueZhian capsules and the content of puerarin in the capsules determined with high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Results The linear range of puerarin was 0.138-1.380 μg.The regression equation was Y=1 484.1X-26.157;r=0.999 8.The average recovery was 98.52% and RSD was 0.43%.Conclusion The method was convenient,sensitive and accurate,and can be used for the effective quality control of XueZhian capsules.
