Determination of Puerarin in Fuganneng Capsules by HPLC

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determination of Puerarin in Fuganneng Capsules.METHODS Zorbax SB-C18(250×4.6,5μm)was used and the mobile phase was CH3OH-H2O(8∶92);The wavelength of detector was 250nm,the column temperature was 35℃.RESULTS A good linear relationship was obtained between the peak area and the concentration of Puerarin in the range was 0.1051 to 2.1020μg(r=0.9999);The average recovery(n=6) was 99.56%(RSD=0.89%).CONCLUSION The method is simple,rapid,accurate and has good reproducibility.It can be used for the quality control of Fuganneng Capsules.
