Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of serum tumor markers in gastric carcinoma. Methods:Serum tumor marker levels of AFP,CEA,CA125,CA19-9,CA72-4 and cyrfa21-1 were measured in 71 gastric carcinoma and 31 chronic gastritis. The sensitivity, specificity, diagnosis accuracy and ROC curve was calculated. All serum tumor markers were analyzed with lymph metastasis and depth infiltration in gastric carcinoma. Results:Levels of CA125,CA19-9 and CA72-4 in gastric carcinoma group were higher than those in chronic gastritis group(P0.05).The diagnosis accuracy of cyrfa21-1,CA72-4 and CA125 were better than other tumor markers.Levels of CA125,CA19-9 and CA72-4 in gastric carcinoma lymph metastasis group were increased when compared with no lymph metastasis group(P0.05).The levels of CA125 and CA19-9 in serosa group were higher than mucosa and submucosa group. Conclusion:The clinical value of serum CA72-4,CA125 and CA19-9 in diagnosis of gastric carcinoma is greater than AFP,CEA and cyrfa21-1.
