Clinical significance of serum CA724,CA199 and CEA in patients with gastric carcinoma

Objective To investigate the clinical value of the serum level of CA724,CA199 and CEA in the diagnosis of gastric carcinoma and its differential diagnosis with other benign gastric diseases.Methods The serum CA724,CA199 and CEA were detected in the patients with gastric carcinoma,gastritis and gastric ulcer by using electrochemiluminescence immunization technique.Results The serum level of CA724,CA199 and CEA had no statistical difference between gastritis and gastric ulcer.The positive rate of the above indexes was 26.4%,5.6% and 12.5% respectively in benign gastric diseases and 50.0%,25.0% and 33.3% respectively in gastric carcinoma.Furthermore,the positive rate of union detection of CA724 and CEA in gastric carcinoma was 66.7%.Conclusion The detection of the serum level of CA724,CA199 and CEA or union detection of CA724 and CEA are valuable to diagnose gastric carcinoma and identify the benign and malignant gastric diseases.
