Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between the expression of laminin and collagen type Ⅳ in laryngeal papilloma with tumor biologic characterization. Methods:The expressions of CⅣ and LN were studied by immunohistochemical techniques (S P) in 10 patients with laryngeal polyp,23 with papilloma and 12 with squamous cell carcinoma. Results:The expressions of LN and CⅣ were significantly different among laryngeal polyp, papilloma and squamous cell carcinoma. The expression of LN and CⅣ were significantly different from the two groups between carcinoma with lymph node positive and negative ones ( P 0.05).The expression of LN and CⅣ were higher in 3 years living groups than 0.5 year dying one. Conclusion:There were relation between the expression of LN,CⅣ and lymph node metastasis. The expression of LN,CⅣ in judge whether laryngeal papilloma can or not change to malignant is a valuable parameter.
