Detection and drug resistance of Mycoplasmacausing urogenital tract infections in 465 female patients

OBJECTIVE To investigate the status of urogenital tract infections caused by Mycoplasma in female patients and analyze the drug resistance so as to provide reference for the clinical treatment.METHODS The genitourinary tract samples from 408 female patients with Mycoplasma infections were cultured and the drug susceptibility testing was performed by Mycoplasma cultivation,identification,and drug susceptibility integration kit.The growth of the Mycoplasma and the drug susceptibility were observed.RESULTS There were 408(87.8%)of 465 patients infected with Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu),22(4.7%) patients infected with Mycoplasma human(Mh),and 35(7.5%)infected with Uu+Mh.The drug susceptibility rates of Mycoplasma to josamycin,doxycycline,and minocycline were 98.1%,97.2%,and 96.8%,respectively,and The Mycoplasma were highly resistant to the quinolone antibiotics.CONCLUSION Uu is the predominant species of Mycoplasma to cause urigenital tract infections in the female patients,josamycin,doxycycline,and minocycline are the preferred antibiotics for the treatment of Uu infection.
