Abstract
The AFLP markers were applied to detect genetic polymorphic loci in miniature Xiang goats.Ten AFLP primers were used, and genomic DNA from 15 goats were analyzed. A total of 113 AFLP markers were obtained, and the marker numbers of individual primer were between 2 to 19.The results indicate that the AFLP marker is suitable for analyzing genetic polymorphism in goat and that(2) the similarity index of population in miniature Xiang goats was 0 913(0 814 to 0 980).
