Amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) is a new molecular marker techneqiue developed by Zabean M and Vos P.As the related methods and detect technology has continuously been developing,the applications of AFLP in genetic diversity,biological germplasm identification,genetic mapping,marker assisted selection were reviewed.
