Abstract
Genomic DNA from 7 goat strains was digested with restriction enzyme, connected with specific adapter. 5 AFLP selective primers which could identify the adapter sequence were used for AFLP-PCR. PCR products were identified by agarose gel electrophoresis. Some differences were found in AFLP of different goat strains. The conclusion is that AFLP technique is an effective method for genetic diversity monitoring of goat.
