Abstract

Objective:Investigate the clinical efficacy of senile hypertension combined therapy of Chinese and western medicine.Methods:180 primary hypertension cases which met in the western and domestic diagnostic criterias were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,and each group concluded 90 cases.Two groups were treated with basic methods, while the control group was treated with antihypertensive drugs(Enalapril),and the treatment group was gaven Sanren Erchen Decoction additionally.At the end,blood pressure was observed after treatment after one month and then judged the clinical efficacy.Results:Total blood pressure lowering effective rate of treatment group was 90%,while control group 70%,and there was significant difference(P0.05).Total Symptomatic efficacy effective rate of treatment group was 90%,while control group 60%,and there was significant difference(P0.01).Conclusion:Treating primary hypertension in combination therapy is better than western medicine alone.
