Clinical Observation on Penqiangyan Granules(盆腔炎颗粒) for 145 Infertile Patients Caused by Pelvic Inflammation

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and safety of Penqiangyan Granules(granules to treat pelvic inflammation,盆腔炎颗粒)for infertility due to pelvic inflammation. Methods Totally 285cases of infertility due to pelvic inflammation were randomized into the treatment group of 145cases and control group of 140cases.The control group was treated with oral antibiotics.The treatment group was given Penqiangyan Granules one dose daily.One treatment course lasted for 14days.The patients were received treatment after menstruation clean.The patients were received one treatment course during each menstrual cycle for a total of three courses,and were followed up after pregnancy.After treatment,the patients were observed for 6menstrual cycles and the efficacy and fertility were evaluated.The adverse reactions were observed,and the pain was scored by visual analog scale(VAS)before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group and control group was 95.2%and 92.1%respectively,with no significant difference between groups(P0.05).The VAS scores were significantly decreased in both groups after treatment(P0.01),with no significant difference between groups(P0.05).The clinical pregnancy rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Penqiangyan Granules is effective and safe for infertility due to pelvic inflammation.It can improve the clinical pregnancy rate.
