Effect of edaravone and clopidogrel therapy in patients with acute cerebral infarction

Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of edaravone and clopidogrel in treatment of acute cerebral infarction(Acute cerebral infarction,ACI).Methods 93 cases of acute cerebral infarction were divided into the treatment group(48 cases) and control group(45 cases).Two groups were given conventional treatment.On the basis of conventional treatment,the control group used edaravone,and the treatment group used clopidogrel based on the control group.The clinical curative effect of the two groups,before and after treatment,Barthel score,NIHSS score and ADL score changes were compared.Results(1) The total clinical efficacies of two groups were 93.8%(45/48)and 75.6%(34/45),it was statistically significant(P0.05).(2)The Barthel index,NIHSS and ADL score were compared between the two groups before treatment,there were statistically significant(P0.05);the Barthel index,NIHSS and ADL score of two groups after treatment compared with the same group before treatment were significantly increased,it was statistically significant(P0.05);The Barthel index,NIHSS and ADL score in treatment group were significantly higher than the control group,it was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Clopidogrel combined with edaravone in treatment of acute cerebral infarction can effectively improve the clinical total effective rate,improve symptoms and clinical indications,synergistic effect in treatment of acute cerebral infarction with a combination of the two drugs,it is worthy of popularization and application.
