Clinical Effect of Clopidogrel Combined with Edaravone on Acute Cerebral Infarction

Objective To observe clinical effect of clopidogrel combined with edaravone on acute cerebral infarction.Methods From January 2011 to October 2013,71 patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected in the Affiliated Hospital of Jinggangshan University,and they were divided into control group( n = 35) and observation group( n = 36). Both groups given conventional treatment,and control group given extra edaravone,observation group given extra clopidogrel combined with edaravone. Both groups treated for 2 weeks. Clinical effect,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale( NIHSS) score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was observed.Results The total effective rate of observation group was 88. 9%,was higher than that of control group of 71. 4%( P 0. 05).There was no significant differences of NIHSS score between the two groups before treatment( P 0. 05); the NIHSS score of observation group was( 9. 1 ± 3. 5) after treatment,was lower than that of control group of( 13. 9 ± 6. 2)( P 0. 05). During treatment,one case of observation group occurred mild increasing glutamic- pyruvic transaminase,no one of control group occurred adverse reactions. Conclusion Clopidogrel combined with edaravone has certain clinical effect on acute cerebral infarction,can effectively improve the patients' neurological function,and is with good safety.
