Abstract

Purpose:To probe into the methods of conserving and restoring the fixed molar roots' through the treatment and restoration of short molar roots.Methods:75 cases concerning were repaired by casting nuclear molar root piles,crown and bridge repair.Results:After 1 to 3 years' clinical observations,93.75 percent of cases have good results.Conclusion:the preservation of short molar roots is of important significance,improvement of root canal therapy,precision of the teeth preparations and fine impressions are the keys to success.
