The mandibular first molar canal system clinical research

Objective Observe the mandibular first molar canal system,so as to provide guidance to avoid the mandibular first molar root canal omissions and side wear in the clinical treatment.Methods The need to do a root canal of 300 patients with mandibular first molar,the root canal mouth probe and small file detection root canal,and combined with X-ray technology to make sure the number of the first molar mandible root canal and its form.Results In the 300 cases of mandibular first molar,including three root canal in 185 cases,four root canal in 106 cases,five root canal in 7 cases,C form root canal in 2 cases.Conclusion The presence of a third root canal of the mesial or distal of the mandibular first molar increases the probability of missing the root canal in the clinical treatment,C form of root canal presence increases the difficulty of treatment,so it is very important to master the root canal number and variations of the teeth treated to the success of root canal therapy.
