Abstract

A method for the determination of xylose in sugar-free products by UPLC-MS-MS was developed with self-prepared 13C-xylose as internal standard.Samples were extracted with water and chromatographic separation was carried out using a Phenomenex analysis column(250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm) with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water(85∶15,V/V).The mass spectrometer was operated in the positive mode using SRM.The limit of detection was 10 ng/mL and the linear range was from 10 to 1000 ng/mL.The recoveries were between 96.09%~ 99.90%,and RSD values(n=5) were between 1.2% ~ 2.5%.
