Abstract

OBJECTIVE To study the relation between hyperuricemia and risk factors of cardiovascular disease.METHODS The 100 patients of hyperuricemia on the treatment group and the 100 cases of normal uric acid on the control group who had a health check, were chested on BMI,the blood pressure, serum glucose, total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein and so on to be compared.RESULTS The level of the BMI,blood pressure, serum glucose, total cholesterol and triglyceride of the hyperuricemia group was higher than the control group(P0.05);The high-density lipoprotein was lower in the hyperuricemia group(P0.05);There were significnt difference between the case group and the control group with obvious assembly on risk factors like hypertension, overweight and abnormal blood lipid(P0.01).CONCLUSION There were close relation between hyperuricemia and risk factors of cardiovascular disease with its assembly.Maybe uric acid is the sign of risk factors of cardiovascular disease.
