Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the relationship of hyperuricemia and the classification of hypertension risk.[Methods]272 male patients who were confirmed to be hyperuricemia in health examination were randomly selected to be the case group.Another 272 males whose serum uric acid(SUA)were normal in the same health examination were selected and matched with the case group by age to be the control group.Serum uric acid(SUA),cholesterol, triglycerides, blood sugar and blood pressure were detected and the relative conditions of cardiovascular diseases were inquired. The hypertension risk were classified according to the guidelines for hypertension prevention and treatment in China. Then the relationship of hyperuricemia and the classification of hypertension risk was analyzed.[Results]The mean BMI,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides in the case group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P﹤0.05).There was no significant difference in smoking and blood sugar between the two groups(P﹥0.05).The risk of hyperuricemia increased while the risk classification of hypertension was at a higher level, and they had a positive linear relative correlation.[Conclusion]Hyperuricemia is a common disease and more attention should be paid to hyperuricemia for the close relation between hyperuricemia and hypertension.
