Abstract
Objective: To explore the intravenous infusion process management model and its effect. Method: Investigated 120 children after the intravenous infusion process management model implemented, and compared with 120 cases under the old model. Results: The work efficiency had significant difference between before and after the intravenous infusion process management model implementation (P0.01), the pa- tients’ satisfaction had significant difference (P0.01), and nursing defects happen rates were significantly lower than before (P0.05). Conclusion: Process management model made the intravenous infusion process in the pediatric outpatient department more rational and scientific. It improved patients’ satisfaction, work efficiency, quality of care and had clinical promotion value.
