Objective To investigate the detail management in the process building of intravenous infusion in pediatric outpatients. Methods 360 pediatric outpatients were investigated, who were treated with intravenous infusion after the details management and the other 360 children were treated with intravenous infusion after the details management. The data between the two groups were compared. Results Before and after the implementation of the details management were significantly different (P<0.01);Patient satisfactions were also improved (P<0.05).Conclusions The model of detail management in pediatric outpatient intravenous infusion regulate the full services and short the waiting time, reduce care deficiencies, improve patient satisfaction and efficiency, and has clinical value in applications. Key words: Intravenous infusion; Details management model; Process building
