Abstract

Objective: To investigate the risk factors for pediatric outpatient intravenous fluids exist in the process and the development of targeted nursing interventions. Methods: Randomly selected outpatients in 2012 and 2013 to accept children with 50 cases of intravenous infusion therapy, and to observe the group, which targeted children accepted methods of care, alternative outpatient 2011 received intravenous infusion treatment of 50 cases of children, set in the control group, patients in the group receiving conventional intravenous infusion measures. Compare two groups of children with the probability of an accident occurs. Results: Children with intravenous drug extravasation trigger factors: age, illness, and the puncture site care factors; group, intravenous infusion of children in the observation group accident occurred probability is much lower, there is a statistically significant( P 0. 05) with respect. Conclusion: Understanding pediatric intravenous infusion nursing process underlying risk factors and take active and effective nursing interventions to maximize the protection of children with the successful completion of the infusion.
