Therapeutic effect of 56 cases of viral myocarditis by combined treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Gegengqingxin decoction combined with routine western medicine on viral myocarditis.Methods 108 patients with viral myocarditis were randomly classified into two groups.56 patients n treatment group were treated with Gegengqingxin decoction combined with routine western medicine; 52 patients in control group were treated only by routine western medicine.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 98.2 %, whereas which was 92.3% in control group.There was significant diferrence betweentwo groups(P0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of Gegengqingxin decoction combined with routine western medicine on viral myocarditis is better than that of routine western medicine traetment.
