EFFECTS OF THE COMBINATION OF CHINESE TRADITIONAL AND WESTERNMEDICINE THERAPY ON ACUTE VIRAL MYOCARDITIS IN 45 CASES

Objective To study the therapeutic effects and feasibility of the combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine therapy for vital myocarditis.Methods The 77 patients with acute viral myocarditis were randomly divided into the treatment group(45 cases) and the control group(32 cases).The control group was treated with Western medicine therapy,and the treatment group was treated with Western medicine and astragalus and danshen injections.Comparison of the efficacy of the two groups was made.ResultsIn the treatment group,35 cases were cured,8 casesgot improved and 2 cases got no effects,with the effective rate being 95.56%.In the control group,17 cases were cured,6 cases got improved and 9 cases got no effects with the effective rate being 71.88%.Conclusion The combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine therapy for viral myocarditis is superior to using Western medicine only.
