Observation of treatment effect on viral myocarditis with integrated Chinese traditional and western medicine

Objective To investigated the treatment effect on viral myocaritis of children with integrated Chinese traditional and western medicine.Methods 62 patients were randomly divided into two group.Therapeutic group was given with integrated Chinese and western medicine,control group was simply given conventional western medicine.To compare the difference on main symptoms,myocardial enzyme and electrocardiogram after treatment.Results Total effective rate 96% in therapeutic group and 74% in control group respectively and in comparison between two group,the difference was significant(P0.01).All the times for patients to recover to normal in main symptoms and laboratory parameters in therapeutic group was significantly different from those in control group(P0.05) and had no any side reaction.Conclusion Chinese traditional medicine with western medicine therapy has obviously curative effects on viral myocarditis of children and have no any side reaction.
