Effects of Jiangu Shenjin decoction on cell proliferation and apoptosis of rat's knee joint chondrocyte

Objective To explore the effects of Jiangu Shenjin decoction on the cell proliferation and apoptosis of rat's chondrocyte. Methods By using improved Hulth method molding,after building 2 weeks,the blank control group and model group applying normal saline lavage; The control group using strong bone joints pill to lavage; Treatment group using low and high concentration of Chinese traditional medicine to lavage respectively. On the 13 weeks executed,through immunohistochemistry and TUNEL method to detect cartilage cell proliferation and apoptosis. Explain Jiangu Shenjin decoction can prevented and treatment of osteoarthritis by adjust the cartilage cell proliferation and apoptosis.Results The increased index of all dosage of Jiangu Shenjin decoction were significantly higher than control group and molding group( P 0. 05),and the apoptosis rate of chondrocyte was significantly lower than control group and molding group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Jiangu Shenjin decoction can improve the cell proliferation activity and obstruct the abnormal apoptosis of chondrocyte,so as to prevent osteoarthritis from happening.
