Clinical significances of VEGF,C-erbB-2,P53 and Ki-67 in breast cancer tissues

Objective To study the expressions of VEGF,C-erbB-2,P53 and Ki67 in primary breast cancer tissues.Methods The expressions of VEGF,C-erbB-2,P53,Ki67,ER and PR were detected with immunohistochemistry in 72 cases of breast cancer pathologically proved.Results The positive rates of protein VEGF,C-erbB-2,P53 and Ki67 were 59.7%,61.1%,56.9% and 69.4%,respectively.The expression of VEGF was significantly correlated with tumor size,axillary lymph node metastasis and the expressions of ER and PR(P0.05).The expression of P53 was obviously correlated with tumor size and axilarry lymph node metastases(P0.05).The expression of ki67 was significant difference in groups with or without axilarry lymph node metastases(P0.05).Conclusion Examination of expressions of VEGF,C-erbB-2,P53 and Ki67 was benefit of prognosis and therapy in primary breast cancer.
