Abstract
Hebing Zixue Pian Yun Bianlan basically reflects the phonetic sound of Beijing dialect in the early days of the 17th century.But some problems exist: prescriptive syllables arbitrarily,archaic rhyme,variations affected by other dialects,and inconsistence between rhyme content and rhyme chart,which degrade its phonetic purity.
