Abstract

A HPLC method was established for the determination of 3-methylindole,which consisted of a Hypersill BDS C18 column(4.6 mm ×200 mm,5um) and methanol-water(85:15 v/v) mixture as mobile phase, detected at 254 nm with flow rate of 1.0 ml/min.The linear range was 2-14 ug(r= 0.9996) and the average recovery was 98.9~(99.9%),with RSD of 0.49%.
