Study on the urban competitive capacities of Zhejiang province

Based on the economy of major cities of Zhejiang Province,a city's index system on a quantitative evaluation of the competitive power is developed.This paper selects 14 indicators covering economic,science and technology,talent,openness,environment and infrastructure,and meanwhile uses synthesized competitiveness evaluation primitive quotas and SPSS statistic software to analyze 14 indicators.We analyses competitive capacities of all cities and classifies them into 4 types.Finally,several proposals in raising urban competitive capacities in Zhejiang Province have been put forward.
