The impact on operation effect and recurrence rate of two different kinds of hernia repair in inguinal hernia patients

Objective To compare the effect and recurrence rate of tension-free hernioplasty and traditional hernia repair for inguinal hernia operation,designed for the inguinal hernia operation method is selected to provide favorable reference.Methods From 2008 June to 2011 June in our hospital,traditional hernia repair of inguinal hernia a report of 42 cases in patients with established as control group,will be undergoing tension-free hernioplasty for inguinal hernia a report of 42 cases in patients with established as the observation group,compared with two groups of operation time,ambulation,com plication rate,postoperative hospitalization time and recurrence rate.Results In the observation group,the operation time,ambulation,postoperative hospital stay were significantly shorter than the control group,the incidence of complications and the relapse rate in the observation group was significantly lower than in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional herniorrhaphy for treatment of inguinal hernia by tension-free hernia repair,and has the advantages of simple operation,short operation time,less complications,and low relapse rate,is worthy of promotion and application.
